The Emotional Support Line provides free and confidential support, helping callers experiencing increased anxiety due to the coronavirus emergency. The Help Line is staffed by volunteers, including mental health professionals, who have received training in crisis counseling.

Community Action of Greene County Emergency Food Bank

Funded through Emergency Food & Shelter National Board Program and the generosity of concerned churches, civic groups, schools, and individuals, Community Action of Greene County, Inc. operates an Emergency Food Pantry. Those requesting service are provided with a three-day supply of food, and are asked to complete an intake and brief interview. The consumer may then be referred to other supports within the agency or community that may be of assistance to them.

COVID-19 Artist Resources

To support artists during the COVID-19 crisis, a coalition of national arts grantmakers have come together to create an emergency initiative to offer financial and informational resources to artists across the United States.

Artist Relief will distribute $5,000 grants to artists facing dire financial emergencies due to COVID-19; serve as an ongoing informational resource; and co-launch the COVID-19 Impact Survey for Artists and Creative Workers, designed by Americans for the Arts, to better identify and address the needs of artists.
